Hello Americans. If you're reading this you are in one of six places:
(1) You are super wealthy. You have all the money in the world and you
want for nothing. There are no issues that affect you in a domestic
sense. Health insurance, taxes, whatever. It's all good. You have your
own body guards, live in a gated community and get driven around where
you need to go. Sweet.
(2) You are wealthy, same as number (1) except your wealth is not
limitless. You can't buy two jets you need to settle for one. You may
have some domestic issues, like crime because you can't afford your own
private security detail. Other than that you're styling.
(3) You're comfortable. You know, nice house, two or three cars, pool,
vacations twice a year. You have limited domestic issues. Crime, taxes
(don't cut mine because then I may have to vacation in Florida next
year). But other than that you're doing fine.
(4) You're living. This is you if you have a few dollars in the bank,
have a car, and some steak now and then. Domestic issues for you may
include the cost of consumable goods, housing costs, health care,
taxes, living expenses, interest rates, and crime.
(5) You live pay check to pay check. You own nothing, Rent, See a movie
every other week and eat our once a month. Domestic issues that affect
you are health insurance, crime, car insurance, taxes, education,
living expenses, consumer spending, oh gee the list goes on and on...
(6) You are POOR. You are making less than you need just to eat a good
meal. Primary issues to you are the cost of consumable goods, health
insurance and the cost of housing.
Now, that said, if you're in position (1), (2), (3) you can not relate
to people in (4), (5) and (6). In fact you want then to leave you and
your assets alone. Share? Are you crazy. How do you think I got this
money? By sharing? No, I need it all to myself.
How about that American Dream you hear so much about. Well, let's look
at it realistically. The ship is sailing, you're below deck, the
captain is already at the helm with guards, a treasure chest full of
gold, his feast, and his...well you get the picture. You want to be the
Captain now? Sorry, advantage status quo.
So what's a (1), (2) or (3) captain to do?
First, you need to keep the (4), (5) and (6) group down. You have
something to protect. Namely your stake in that ship called American
society. You buy all the newspapers in the land and you make sure they
skew things the way you want them. You have all the treasure so what
the heck, Using you're newly created media empire you, the captain, get
certain "facts" out:
(1) If you want me the captain to share the wealth I have for nothing other than your request than "you have a disease"
(1) If you work hard below deck you too someday can be the captain.
Really? I can? Sure!!!! (of course you will not have access to any
treasure or be permitted to attend captain school).
(2) In the meantime, take a look at this here TV - we have sports, American Idol, football and some hot McDonalds. Enjoy!
(3) Things that are good for me are actually good for you!!! (I love this one)
(4) It's in your interest to let me use my treasure to make more jobs for you below deck!!!!
(5) If you want to keep that TV, your weekend sports, and American Idol than you better let me make more money!!!!
Eye, eye, Captain!
